Talking therapies offers brief goal focussed treatment for symptoms of depression and anxiety. If you are looking for a formal diagnostic assessment or medication for a mental health condition such as,

Bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorder, please contact your GP and request that they refer you for a specialist diagnostic assessment.

If you are currently under the care of another NHS service or in therapy elsewhere and think you would benefit from a referral to our service, it may be best to raise this with the person you are seeing to discuss a possible referral and consider what their recommendations are (i.e. do they think what we offer is likely to be helpful for what you need help with?)

In general, we are unable to directly help with practical issues and instead advocacy or specialist support services can be more helpful.

If you are seeking help for a practical issue, it may be helpful to apply to local organisations that offer social prescribing support. They can offer support regarding housing, debt, social needs and work as examples.
